Meet Your Success Team

As part of CSU Pueblo Pathways, all students are paired with a success team consisting of an Academic Success Coach, Faculty Mentor, and Peer Mentor. This team helps you track and complete pathway milestones, and will be there to support you every step of the way.

Academic Success Coach

Your Academy Success Coach will serve a similar role as school counselors or academic advisors that you may have had.

Your assigned Academic Success Coach is your contact for:

  • Pathway questions & support services
  • Housing & Financial Aid
  • Introduction to Faculty Mentor
  • Introduction to Peer Mentor
  • Reviewing your academic 4-year plan
  • Support with class registration
  • Reviewing academic degree requirements
  • Withdrawals
  • and more!

Faculty Mentor

Faculty Mentors are professors and instructors within the department of your area of study.

The faculty mentor is your contact for:

  • Details of your major or minor, course selection & graduation
  • Department-specific information and activities
  • Elective courses (upper division)
  • Research or project opportunities
  • Career/Internship choices and experiential learning
  • Information on graduate school applications

Peer Mentor

Your peer mentor will be a second, third, or fourth year student that will support your student experience beyond the classroom.

Your peer mentor is your contact for:

  • Attending events
  • Getting involved with student clubs and organizations
  • Class selection
  • Becoming familiar with campus locations
  • Ordering books
  • Meeting new people and support services
  • and more!

Works Coordinator

The Works Coordinator is not an official member of the student success team, but students will work closely with this position starting in Milestone 3. The Works Coordinator will gather student career goals, previous experience, skills, and interests to connect students to career development opportunities on and off campus.

Advising for summer courses is open. New and current students are eligible for a $500 summer scholarship if enrolled in 9 or more summer credits.
