Program Overview

The Registered Nurse to BSN Online Program is tailored for working nurses that are looking to complete their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Degree. 

The program consists of 33 credit hours through the articulation agreement, 57 credit hours of prerequisite or co-requisite courses, and 30 credit hours of nursing courses for a total of 120 credit hours.. Graduates are prepared for entry-level baccalaureate nursing or advanced nursing practice in a culturally diverse community.

    What is the Application Process?

    Students will apply using the online application. Once all required documents have been received and an applicant is deemed eligible for admission, an applicant will be accepted to both the University and to the School of Nursing simultaneously.

    How long will it take me to graduate?

    The Registered Nurse to BSN. Online Program requires 30 nursing credit hours to graduate. Most students can complete the program in one year. However, we want to ensure students take courses on their schedule. Students may select a full-time or part-time schedule to best fit their needs.

    How long are online classes?

    Online classes are 8 weeks long and run twice per semester. This means you can start classes in August, October, January, March, April, and June.

    Where do I view my account information?

    Each student has a PAWS (Personal Access to Web Services) account where they can view their bill, financial aid, online schedule, request transcripts, and more. For more questions about your PAWS account, contact your advisor.

    Who can I talk to about my financial aid or bill?

    It is important to check your PAWS account regularly. Student Financial Services is open Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is available via phone at 719.549.2753, email at financialaid@csupueblo.edu, and take walk-ins.

    Am I qualified for scholarships?

    You may be qualified for one or more scholarships offered by CSU Pueblo. You must have an updated FAFSA on file with Student Financial Services. Visit the Scholarships page for more information.
