ADN Pathway

Students that do not have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree can pursue the ADN Pathway of the MSN Program if the following criteria is met:

  • Nursing License: Applicants must have Colorado Nursing License in good standing. Applicants without a Nursing License may be admitted with proof of enrollment in a Colorado Associate Degree or Diploma Nursing program with ability to receive Colorado Nursing License prior to starting graduate-level courses.
  • Associate Degree: Student's must have an Associate's Degree or be enrolled in a program to receive an Assocciate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing before starting any program coursework. 
  • Transcripts: Official transcripts from all institutions attended must be sent electronically or by mail. 

Preference

1. More than two (2) years of practice experience
2. One year or more of experience as a clinical adjunct instructor
3. Residency in Southern Colorado
4. Undergraduate degree from CSU-Pueblo

How to Apply

Applicants must complete the online application. The application requires official transcripts from all colleges which the student has attended. Once the application and transcripts have been received, students will receive an admission decision to both the University and to the School of Nursing and Health Sciences simultaneously.
