At CSU-Pueblo, we are focused on the success of all our students. Our Center for International Programs is undergoing a transition and we want to introduce the new team of members dedicated to international student welfare and success.

    How is the university going to support International Students Moving forward?

    While the current structure of the Center for International Programs will no longer exist after June 30, 2019, CSU-Pueblo WILL maintain all international student recruitment, admission, enrollment, and programming efforts, as well as study abroad and National Student Exchange. This will be accomplished through integration of international student services within the university’s enrollment and student affairs departments.

    Who will be our DSO/ARO and Immigration Advisor?

    Strider Swope in the Center of International Programs is a DSO for F-1 Visas and an ARO for J-1 Visas. He is available to assist with all visa concerns and will be your point of contact through summer and fall 2019. During orientation and welcome back programming for fall semester, additional contacts will be made available.

    Will our scholarships be affected?

    Scholarship programs are remaining as they currently exist, as will the Global Leaders and work study programs. The UK and German Scholars special tuition rate programs also remain in effect, with no change for the 2019-2020 academic year.

    How will the resources and system structures be communicated to International Students?

    CSU-Pueblo will communicate with current students through their pack e-mail accounts and with new students through the emails they provided at the time of application. In addition, new information will be added to the International Student web page.
