Advancing Applications in Cannabis

April 4–6, 2020 | Pueblo, CO

The ICR Conference 2020 is the fourth annual edition of this event. The ICR at Colorado State University-Pueblo is pleased to host researchers and attendees from every field of cannabis expertise. The conference is an ideal forum for researchers from universities, representatives from government agencies, and a host of industry experts to share the most recent advancements in the rapidly expanding arena of cannabis research. Presentations, panels, and posters will cover the scientific, medical, industrial, legal, economic, and social elements of cannabis research. Please join other presenters and attendees from around the globe at the ICR Conference 2020 at Colorado State University-Pueblo April 4-6, 2020.

Call for Session Proposals

The program consists of following tracks for parallel sessions. Submit your session proposal before September 26, 2019!
  • Biology, chemistry, physiology, and agronomy of Cannabis
  • Medical & clinical research 
  • Hemp cultivation, processes, and uses
  • Non-medical (industrial) hemp 
  • Cannabinoid pharmacology
  • Public health and education
  • Public policy and regulation
  • Economic and social impact
  • Quality assurance and quality control of Cannabis products
  • Research administration and collaboration
  • Others
By submitting a session proposal you are indicating your willingness to chair the session. Also, you are indicating that you will reach out to appropriate colleagues and subject matter experts to notify them of the session and encourage they submit an abstract for the session. Please note that you can share the Chair responsibilities with another colleague or two. Chairs of selected sessions will be offered conference registration at a discount. The online abstract submission system will open on October 1, 2019, and close on December 6, 2019.

Keynote Speakers

Dr. Roger Pertwee

Dr. Roger Pertwee will deliver the Mechoulam Lecture at the Institute of Cannabis Research – 2020 Conference. Dr. Pertwee was personally recommended by Dr. Raphael Mechoulam for this honor.

Dr. Marilyn A. Huestis

Dr. Marilyn A. Huestis will serve as the Opening Plenary speaker for the Institute of Cannabis Research Conference 2020.
