ICR Conference 2017

ICR Conference 2017 Logo

The first Institute of Cannabis Research international conference held on April 28-30, 2017, at Colorado State University-Pueblo was a tremendous success!

On behalf of CSU-Pueblo faculty, staff, and students, along with the ICR Steering Committee, working groups and researchers…thank you for attending the inaugural ICR conference!

More than 500 cannabis scholars, researchers, industry professionals and interested persons attended the three-day event, and even a spring Colorado snowstorm didn’t lessen anyone’s enthusiasm. We owe tremendous gratitude to Dr. Raphael Mechoulam, Dr. Alexandros Makriyannis, and Dr. Carl Hart for attending the conference and providing illuminating and inspiring plenary and keynote addresses. To have such internationally renowned scientists at our first conference was truly remarkable. We know that for many attendees, the opportunity to personally meet Dr. Mechoulam and Dr. Makriyannis was a dream come true. We are so pleased to have been able to provide that opportunity to so many.

Thank you to those who attended the Saturday evening reception, where we highlighted the research of our CSU-Pueblo ICR funded researchers. It turned out to be quite a festive evening of networking. The energy and enthusiasm was contagious for all of us there!
