Phi Alpha Theta is a professional society whose mission is to promote the study of history by encouraging research, good teaching, publication, and the exchange of ideas among historians. We seek to bring students, teachers, and writers of history together for intellectual and social conversations. We also support historical research and publication by our members. Phi Alpha Theta currently runs the History Club, so even if you are not a member of this professional society, you can join us for fun and exciting events!
