Program Requirements

The Graduate Programs in Natural Sciences requires 30 or 32 semester credit hours of approved graduate course work in the thesis or non-thesis options, respectively. There are three programs currently offered within GPNS. The three programs are:  Biology-MS, Chemistry-MS, and Biochemistry-MS. Each program of study has specific requirements. A link to detailed description of each program requirements can be found below. The course of study usually requires two (2) academic years of work for most students.

  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Biochemistry

Spring 2022 Registration

Registration Opens October 18, 2021.

To register for Spring 2022 courses, students will need to meet with their academic success coach or faculty mentor, submit proof of vaccination or exemption, and self-register through Banner.

Vaccination Requirement and Exemptions

The university's COVID-19 Vaccination Policy includes the COVID-19 vaccination unless an exemption is filed.
