Geography classes are taught within the Department of History, Political Science, Philosophy and Geography, and the curriculum includes classes in World Regional Geography, Cultural Geography and Physical Geography as part of the university's general education requirements and/or general electives. Other special topics geography classes are offered periodically, depending on student interest and faculty expertise.
World Regional Geography counts toward general education requirements and provides students the opportunity to explore the planet and its inhabitants by examining history, politics, religion, topography, environmental, and ethnic and gender issues, both past and present.
Is there a major or minor in geography?No, there are only classes that count toward all other undergraduate degrees at CSU-Pueblo, or as GENED requirements.
Do all geography courses count as a GEN ED(general Education) classes?No, only the World Regional Geography Course. Other classes count toward general university electives.
