MATH 109: Mathematical Explorations

3 semester-hour credits - Tuition $525.00
Emphasis on quantitative reasoning and connections between mathematics and society. Objectives are to develop an appreciation of mathematics, to improve problem solving skills, and to develop quantitative reasoning skills. E-mail available.
Note: This course requires the CSU-Pueblo Accuplacer exam prior to registration, or satisfactory score on ACT/SAT or successful completion of MATH 099. Contact Extended Studies for additional information. 

MATH 121 College Algebra

semester-hour credits - Tuition $700.00
Solutions of algebraic equations, graphs of rational functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, systems of equations, matrices, and determinants.
Prerequisite: satisfactory placement exam score or MATH 099 or equivalent.
