Graduate Checklist

We are currently making plans to hold two in-person commencement ceremonies and one virtual ceremony on
Saturday, May 8, 2021 in the Neta and Eddie DeRose Thunderbowl.

  • 9 a.m.  STEM/CHEN (formally CSM/CEEPS)
  • 1 p.m.  CHASS/HSB
  • 7 p.m.  Virtual Ceremony (All Graduates)

A few reminders...

  1. Check your email frequently. We will send emails to the email that is in Marching Order, this could be your CSU Pueblo email or a personal email. Whatever you use to login to Marching Order.
  2. Text grad21 to 76626 for updates about 2021 Commencement. We are currently working through the variance process with the state and will have frequent updates throughout the process.
  3. Make sure that you have completed your graduation contract with your academic advisor and it has been received by the Registrar's Office. Your advisor can confirm that it has been received. This is for your degree conferral and is required even if you do not plan to participate in a ceremony. 
  4. Order your cap and gown before April 1 (to avoid a late fee) through the bookstore website or in person at the Bookstore.
  5. Commencement memorabilia, announcements, diploma frames, and more can be ordered online through the Bookstore website. You can also order your cap and gown (regalia) through the bookstore website
  6. Graduates still wishing to participate in the ceremonies who have not reserved their seat must email since it is passed the deadline. You can still walk, the process is just a little different on the adminstrative side.
  7. Check CSU Pueblo email, text messaging, and social media platforms (@mycsupueblo (facebook), @mycsupueblo_ instagram) for updates.
  8. TICKETS FOR GUESTS---As of April 21, 2021, we have been approved to allow each graduate four guest tickets for their ceremony. Details on how to claim tickets will be sent out the week of April 26th via email, text message, and social media. We will also post directions on this website.

Vaccination Requirement and Exemptions

The university's COVID-19 Vaccination Policy includes the COVID-19 vaccination unless an exemption is filed.
