Commencement Information for Guests

Ticketing

When graduates reserve their seat for their assigned Commencement ceremony they will have the opportunity to reserve tickets for their guests. You will need to communicate with your graduate to obtain your ticket. All seating is General Admission, doors will open one hour before each ceremony.

Guidelines and Ticket Information

The following guidelines have been established to provide an enjoyable guest and graduate experience and for the safety of everyone in attendance:

• Doors open at 9 a.m. for the 10 a.m. ceremony and 2 p.m. for the 3 p.m. ceremony. All parents and guests should be seated by 9:45 a.m. (Ceremony One) and 2:45 p.m. (Ceremony Two).

• No backpacks or large tote-style purses will be allowed into the venue. Diaper bags are allowed but will be subject to search.

• Degree candidates must reserve tickets when reserving their seat in their assigned ceremony. Each degree candidate can reserve up to six tickets. Additional tickets will be released as they become available and students who require more than six tickets can claim tickets as they are released. Last-minute tickets may be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Students and faculty should arrive to the lineup wearing their regalia (cap and gown).

Diplomas

Students will receive a diploma cover during the ceremony. They will receive their degree by mail within 6-8 weeks of degree conferral.

College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHASS)

Hasan School of Business (HSB)
