    When do I receive my diploma?

    Graduates will receive a diploma cover during the ceremony - actual diplomas are mailed approximately 10-12 weeks after commencement.

    Do my guests need tickets?

    Tickets are not required for admission. Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Doors will open to the Events Center beginning at 8 a.m.
    Reserved seating is available (by ticket only) for guests who are unable to climb up and down the arena stairs or have a hearing impairment.  If you have a guest attending the ceremony who requires reserved disability seating, you may request up to two reserved seating tickets (one for disabled guest and one accompanying family member). 
    This section of seating is limited, and tickets will be issued on a first come, first served basis.  We ask that graduates request only the number of tickets they will need (not to exceed two).  You can download the CSU-Pueblo Commencement Reserved Seating FormThe ticket request form must be completed and delivered to the Office of External Affairs, ADM 320, by Friday, April 21.  Tickets must be picked up by Wednesday, May 3; we will not mail the tickets.

    Where do I buy my cap and gown?

    Cap and gown can be purchased at the Graduation Fair at the CSU-Pueblo Bookstore March 7-8, 2017 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. or at the Colorado Springs Extended Studies Graduation Fair on March 6, 2017 between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.  Students may also order online at www.csupueblobookstore.com. A late fee of $15 will be charged for orders placed beginning March 13-17, 2017. A late fee of $25 will be charged for orders placed after March 17, 2017.

    Where do I pick up my cap and gown?

    Caps and gowns can be picked up in the CSU-Pueblo Book Store in the Occhiato University Center on Friday, May 5, 2017, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.​

    How do I sign up for the commencement ceremony?

    To sign up for the commencement ceremony, please attend the Graduation Fair on March 6 from 3-6 pm in Colorado Springs or March 7-8 in the CSU-Pueblo Bookstore from 9 am – 5 pm. If you already own a black cap and gown and plan to use it for the ceremony, please contact Sommer Street in the Office of External Affairs at 719.549.2284 or make your reservation hereALL caps and gowns must be approved BEFORE the commencement ceremony.

    What time do I need to show up for commencement?

    All students participating in the commencement ceremony must be at the event by 8:45 a.m.

    What do I need to bring to commencement?

    Students must bring their regalia, honor cord and index card provided to them in their cap and gown packet.  We ask that all personal belonging including, cell phones, purses, keys etc., be left at home or in your vehicle.
