Congratulations degree candidates! The following information is for students participating in Commencement Ceremony One at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2019.

Cap and Gown Information

If you did not attend the CSU-Pueblo Grad Fair, which was held  March 4-6, you must order your cap and gown at the CSU-Pueblo Bookstore or on their website at www.csupueblobookstore.com orders placed online after March 15th will be charged a $25 late fee. Cap and gowns will be available for pickup on Friday, May 3rd, in the bookstore.

Caps and Gowns are purchased by the graduates and do not need to be returned after the ceremony.

Masters Cap, Gown, Hood & Tassel $69.99 + tax
CSU-Pueblo Souvenir School Color Tassel $7.99 + tax 

Full payment must be received at the time of the order. There are NO refunds

University Honors

Students that meet the University Honors Policy criteria will be graduating with University Honors:

  • Must have 60 credits of CSU-Pueblo courses by the start of the last term
  • Must have a 3.5 GPA or higher by the start of the last term

Final GPA and Honors will be noted on diploma and transcript. 

Ticket Information

You must reserve your seat at the Commencement Ceremony by completing the RSVP form at www.csupueblograd.com, you will be given the opportunity to reserve tickets for your guests at this time. Only reserve the number of tickets you know you will need so we can accommodate every degree candidate’s guests in the arena. Initially, graduates are allotted six tickets each and can request to be added to the waitlist for additional tickets when they become available.

If you require handicapped-accessible seating for yourself or one of your guests, email commencement@csupueblo.edu.

Graduates must RSVP no later than April 5, 2019 to be included in the program and to be guaranteed their six guest tickets. After April 5, 2019, graduates will not be guaranteed any tickets for their guests and will not have their name in the Commencement Program.

Unticketed guests will be accommodated in the Life Sciences Auditorium where they can view a live broadcast of the ceremony.

Handicapped-Accessible Seating

Reserved seating is available for guests who are unable to climb up and down the arena stairs or have a hearing impairment. If you have a guest attending the ceremony who requires reserved disability seating, you may request up to two reserved seating tickets (one for disabled guest and one accompanying family member).

This section of seating is limited, and tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. We ask that graduates request only the number of tickets they will need (not to exceed two). You must email commencement@csupueblo.edu to request accessible seating before April 19, 2019 Tickets can be sent digitally to your email or mobile phone or picked up during cap and gown pickup in May.

Handicapped-Accessible parking is available in lot N-4 located directly outside Massari Arena. Guests must show proper documentation to park in this area.

Translators

Closed captioning will be available for the entire ceremony and will be displayed on the video boards in the arena. Spanish translation will also be provided during the opening and closing of the ceremony.
An American Sign Language Interpretor will also translate the ceremony and can be viewed on the video board.

Any additional, reasonable translation services must be requested by sending an email to commencement@csupueblo.edu by April 12, 2019.

Parking

Graduates will park in parking lot E-10 next to the Neta and Eddie DeRose Thunderbowl. Shuttles will be available to transport graduates to the Student Recreation Center starting at 8 a.m.

Guest parking will be available in lots E-1 through E-9. Please view the attached map for more specific lot information.

Handicapped-Accessible parking will be located in lot N-4 and guest will have to show proper documentation to park in this area.
