The Colorado Promise

Free Tuition for Eligible Students
Slide 1

The Colorado Promise Scholarship program will provide awards for the remaining amount of in-state tuition after all state, federal, and institutional grant and scholarship aid has been awarded.

To determine the Colorado Promise amount, the tuition charged is reduced by the total dollar amount awarded from other student financial aid awards for the academic year, including, state and federal grants, and all CSU Pueblo institutional grants and scholarships.

The Colorado Promise Scholarship recipients will be guaranteed free tuition for one year, but may be renewable for 4 years for freshmen students and renewable for 2 years for transfer students as long as the student maintains full-time enrollment and a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The Colorado Promise does not cover fees of any kind or for housing . Please contact Student Financial Services for further details.
