CSU Pueblo Expands Pack Promise.

Starting in Fall 2026, Colorado students with family incomes of $90,000 or less can get their out-of-pocket tuition and fees fully reimbursed through a refundable tax credit when attending Colorado public institutions of higher education. Learn more here. CSU Pueblo also offers Pack Promise to help eligible students reduce out-of-pocket tuition.

Pack Promise Eligibility (CSU Pueblo)

This section describes CSU Pueblo’s Pack Promise program (not the state tax credit).

• > Must be a Colorado resident
• > Must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by May 1 for the Fall 2026 semester*
• > Must have a total family income of $70,000 or less based on the FAFSA
• > Must be an in-state, first time college student or transfer student with a gross family income of up to $70,000
• > Must be enrolled full-time (12 credits per semester)
• > Pack Promise pays for a maximum of 15 credits per semester
• > Must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher in future years
• > Eligibility will be determined annually

*Students who are not eligible to complete the FAFSA must complete the Colorado Application for State Financial Aid (CASFA) by May 1st for the Fall 2026 semester.
