Join the Faculty Learning Community to hear Darrin Pratt, Director of the University Press of Colorado, discuss the impact of the digital age on academic publishing. Pratt will discuss some of the current trends in academic publishing, including the impact of digital on print and a new push for Open Access books, as well as articles. Then, he'll discuss how all of that impacts potential authors, what university presses are looking for when reviewing proposals, and how the submission and publication process typically looks at an academic publisher.
