Chinese oil painter Zhang Zheyi is displaying a number of his artworks in the Fine Art Gallery of Colorado State University-Pueblo, including oil paintings and mixed media pieces. Zhang Zheyi is a highly active artist currently living and working in Beijing.In addition to his mainstay oil painting, Zhang Zheyi's installations, videos, photographs and other art forms have recently received widespread attention. In 2017, he has held a successful solo exhibition in Beijing, China in January and another in Bonn, Germany in April. From these artworks, we can explore the balance between the East and the West, Please join us for special open hours from 5-7pm on First Friday, September 1st. The artist himself will be present to talk about his work on Monday, September 18th from 10-11:30am in the CSU-Pueblo Fine Art Gallery. There will also be an closing reception from 5-7pm that evening. Both events are free and open to the public.
