Meet the Director

Dear Fellow Alumni,

It is my honor to serve as the Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Fund at Colorado State University-Pueblo. I am genuinely excited about returning to CSU-Pueblo to work in this very important role.

As a native of Pueblo, this institution has been a constant part of my life for many years. One of my earliest memories is being a small child walking across campus to the library with my father when he was a student. For as long as I can remember, my parents emphasized the value of education and having the opportunity to come on campus as a young child helped to reinforce that importance and the opportunities that were available.

When I graduated in 1994 with a degree in Mass Communications I felt fortunate to have received a quality education. Some of the best experiences I had included working at KTSC-FM as an on-air DJ and eventually, being named their first female program director, and helping to organize the very first “Rock On the Bricks” concert. These experiences on campus and in the classroom prepared me to enter the workforce as a capable professional.

Recently, Colorado State University-Pueblo was touted as “THE centerpiece of the Pueblo community”; and rightfully so, we have so much excitement on campus, that it has spilled over into the community and you can hear the Thunder from the Hill, not just throughout southern Colorado, but throughout the world!

Whether you are one of our 10,000 alumni who reside in Pueblo County or part of the 28,000 who reside throughout the United States and internationally; we all have one tie that binds, we are a part of the tradition that is Colorado State University-Pueblo.

It is the students, faculty, staff and alumni who make this University outstanding; and throughout our long history, whether you attended CSU-Pueblo, USC, SCSC, PJC or SCJC, your success has provided a firm foundation for this institution upon which we will continue to thrive.

I am proud to be a CSU-Pueblo alumna and look forward to continuing to enhance the visibility of the Alumni Association among CSU-Pueblo staff, students, alumni and friends.

Please keep in touch, share your memories and let us share your stories and successes with fellow alumni.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.
